Die Schwierigkeiten bei der Interpretation von Platon beruhen auf einem Missverständnis seiner Schreibtechnik. Um sie zu überwinden, konzentriert sich diese Studie auf seine Technik, die auf einem mühsamen Spiel beruht, mit dem er die Leser:innen auffordert, auf seine Provokationen und seinen Gebrauch der sokratischen Maieutik zu reagieren: Sie erzeugt die Abfolge der Dialoge als eine große Protreptik. Das Verständnis dieser Technik erlaubt uns, seine einzigartige und vielschichtige Vision der Realität erfassen. Maurizio Migliori, ehemaliger Professor für Geschichte der Philosophie an der Universität von Macerata (Italien) und Mitglied der Internationalen Platon-Gesellschaft, war ein Spezialist für Platon, dem er zahlreiche Bücher und über 100 Artikel in internationalen Zeitschriften und Büchern gewidmet hat.
Abstract
The difficulties in interpreting Plato depend on a misunderstanding of his writing technique. To overcome them, this study focuses on his technique, based on a laborious game, by which he prompts the reader to take action in response to his provocations and to his use of Socratic maieutics: it produces the sequence of dialogues as a great protreptic. Understanding his use of this technique allows us to grasp his uni-multiple vision of reality. Maurizio Migliori, former professor of History of Philosophy at the University of Macerata (Italy) and member of the International Plato Society, was a specialist on Plato to whom he dedicated numerous books and over 100 articles, in international journals and books.
