Zusammenfassung

Konkurrenz ist ein notwendiger Motor einer modernen Wirtschaft. Konzerne versuchen jedoch, Vorteile gegenüber ihrer Konkurrenz zu erlangen. Daher werden oft anti-kompetitive Praktiken wie der Verdrängungswettbewerb angewandt. Es ist daher erforderlich, Regeln für einen fairen Wettbewerb für alle Teilnehmer zu etablieren. Um die Möglichkeiten und Gefahren verschiedener Marktregulierungsmethoden zu untersuchen, hielten Akademiker, größtenteils aus Augsburg und Hanoi, ein Symposium zur umfassenden Wettbewerbsregelung ab. Insbesondere wurden dabei die Probleme und Gefahren diskutiert, wenn Regelungen die für einen etablierten Markt wie Europa auf ein aufsteigendes Land wie Vietnam übertragen werden.

Abstract

Competition is a necessary motor of modern economy. But enterprises tend to achieve advantages over their competitors. So anti-competitive practices like predatory pricing are likely to be used. Therefor it is necessary to establish a comprehensive competition regime in order to enable a fair competition to all players on the market. To investigate the possibilities and dangers of various methods of marked regulation, academic participants mostly from Augsburg and Hanoi arranged a symposium on competition regime. Especially the problems and dangers related with the transfer of regulations from a well established market like Europe to a rising country like Vietnam were discussed.
