In the future, platform operators will be exposed to many different regulatory approaches under EU law. Examples are the Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act. This article reviews the 8th GRUR Junge Wissenschaft conference and deals with the title of the conference – “Fundamentals and Reorganization of the Law of Digital Platforms”. It takes a look at copyright aspects, access to data and, in particular, the question of the relationship between private law enforcement and official law enforcement and whether the former can support the latter in the future. During the conference, the audience was able to gain not only interdisciplinary but also international impressions, which was very enriching, especially in view of the EU-wide regulation.
