It is an acknowledged fact that mass communications, as an academic discipline, is a half-cooked potato. The short time of its existence, the enormous variety of elements that come under its umbrella, the proximity to reallife that encourages everybody to talk ab out it, and many other factors are responsible for this confusing situation.
